Dedicated to educational purposes, to growing vegetables for the community along side fibers for the paper making process and natural dyes, this communal space acts as a bridge between communities while facilitating a connection with the land within an urban environment.

The Altgeld-Sawyer Corner Farm, located in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago, is an on going collaboration between the neighbors in the area, Christopher House, Book and Paper artists, and is partially funded by the Columbia College Book and Paper Center and Twine NFP.

It was one of 12 featured programs for Chicago Artist Month in October 2009.
